HIGH PERFORMANCE COMMUNICATIONS
The MTP850Ex offers best-in-class audio performance in the typical noisy environments where specialist industrial and public safety users operate.
INTEGRAL USER SECURITY
- ATEX and IEC-Ex gas and dust approvals.
Integrated GPS for user location.
DATA APPLICATION CAPACITY
The integrated WAP browser and multi-compartment package data allow quick access to critical information in the field. Applications have also been improved with simultaneous access to the Short Data Service (SDS) and multi-compartment packet data services via the TNP1 protocode. Internal “Man Down” alarm.
SIMPLE BUT POWERFUL USER INTERFACE
The simplified keypad with large button surface makes it easy to use the MTP850Ex with gloves on. Combining large, scalable fonts and on-screen icons, the MTP850Ex makes it easy to operate in difficult environments with limited visibility.
INTEGRAL USER SECURITY
The MTP850Ex can be used in explosive gas and dust environments due to its high level of protection, including in Dust Zones 21 and 22. Operational safety has been improved with a range of functions including:
- Integrated state-of-the-art GPS receiver that provides the ability to locate personnel via the radio, thus improving user safety and resource management.
- Internal “Man Down” alert; this fully integrated solution initiates an emergency procedure when the radio bearer remains inactive for a certain period or falls.
