INTRINSICALLY SAFE RADIOS ARE ONE OF THE FORMS OF COMMUNICATION, IF NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT, IN THE OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY.
The use of electronic equipment in hazardous environments requires a special type of classification where there is a potential risk of explosive atmospheres. Such environments include oil rigs and refineries, gas pipelines, coal mines, chemical plants, grain silos, and other environments where potentially explosive or hazardous materials exist. Standard two-way radios should not be used because they can make a potentially dangerous situation even more dangerous.

Abix works exclusively with intrinsically safe radios certified by CEPEL for use in environments with explosive atmospheres with or without Anatel’s license for use. Abix was the first Premium Reseller to obtain a license from Anatel to lease radiocommunicators already enabled, that is, for use, your company does not need to enter the process of homologation of technical design of bi-directional radios in Anatel but if your company already has a license, we lease the equipment already programmed in its frequency.
