he National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has launched important resolutions on the Private Limited System. The main ones are resolutions 523 and 568, stating that Anatel will not authorize new licenses for the use of frequencies in analog systems and that companies using analog systems will not have their licenses renewed. With this change in the resolution, companies that already have an analog radio system in use will have to anticipate the expiration of their license and migrate their system to digital.
The digital system offers many advantages over analog, including better audio quality, greater security in communication and digital radios with longer battery life.
