The ES30TI Series combines the power of a thermal imager with the precision of an Esprit pan/tilt to create a single, fully integrated and addressable thermal positioning system. At the center of the ES30TI is an uncooled long-wave infrared (LWIR) camera and oxide microbolometer. It offers 320 x 240 thermal video with a pixel size of 38 µm and supports 2X digital zoom.
The ES30TI Series provides excellent sensitivity below 40 mK.
It has the capacity for various display formats, including warm white, warm black and color signatures. The ES30TI is available with three different lens configurations – focal lengths of 14.25 mm, 35 mm and 50 mm – for effective deployment in a wide variety of applications.
A powder-coated aluminum construction makes the ES30TI Series ideal for indoor or outdoor applications. The system has an absolute operating temperature range of -50 to 140°F (-45 to 60°C). Within two hours of warming up, the unit can defrost completely and be operated from a temperature of -13°F (-25°C).
A heater, defroster/window defogger, sunscreen and insulation blanket are standard features incorporated into the ES30TI Series. All units also have an auxiliary open-collector output that operates for two seconds before switching off.
The variable pan and tilt speeds of the ES30TI Series range from 0.1 to 40 degrees per second in manual pan mode and 0.1 to 20 degrees per second in manual tilt mode. The turbo and pre-positioning pan speeds are 100 degrees per second at wind speeds of 50 mph (80 km per hour) and 50 degrees per second at the wind speed profile of 90 mph (144 km per hour). The tilt pre-positioning speed is 30 degrees per second. The ES30TI is capable of 360-degree continuous panoramic rotation. The tilt range allows horizontal viewing from +33 to -83 degrees. There are 64 programmable pre-positioning positions with an accuracy of ¼ of a degree.
The ES30TI Series systems are available with a 24 VAC input voltage or with a selectable 120/230 VAC power supply. The ES30TI also has a connection recovery mode that allows the user to specify in which operation the system will be restarted whenever the power fluctuates.
