MDC SIGNALING FUNCTIONS

14-CHARACTER ALPHANUMERIC DISPLAY
Easy-to-understand icons provide the status of functions such as scanning, high/low power and received signal strength.
DUAL PRIORITY SCANNING
Use this function for situations where you need to monitor one or two workgroups more frequently than the rest.
RADIO SIGNAL STRENGTH
An icon on the display shows the strength of the signal received by the radio; 5 bars indicate the highest signal.
ESCALERT
When you are receiving a selective call or a Call Alert, the sound gradually increases until you answer the call.
EMERGENCY ALARM
The radio can be programmed to give you quick access at the touch of a button to notify the dispatch operator in an emergency situation.
AUTOMATIC RADIO INTERROGATION
It lets you know if the radio is on and within the system’s coverage without disturbing the user.
